We going to try something a little different here in order to aid novices and guests at the events. We have ordered 2 different colors of arm bands for this year. For general drivers, we've order armbands w/ blue stars on a white background, and yes these were on sale.

For event chairs and officers, we'll have a box of red arm bands on the bus for you to wear. We hope this will offer a quick way to find folks associated w/ the event.

On the next order can I make a suggestion?

Can we order non-solid bands for non-participants. I like the Stars idea. Tie-die is another good option.

I like this idea. It makes it easy for start/grid to verify that novices/non-drivers aren't where they shouldn't be. Can we make sure that they wear them on their left arm so they can be seen from start?

Actually, that's going well. I'd say 99% of folks wear them on their left wrist. The gate workers will usually tell folks to put in on the left wrist. I like the idea of drivers vs guest, but starts becoming a pain to track splitting off novices from the other drivers. I'd say for the most part drivers do as they are asked.
